Immortal - I made a terrible mistake. I have a game file I use to use to run custom code for one-off purposes. I thought I was editing the Immortal Night file, but I was editing the Immortal Day File. So when I ran this file on Immortal Night, it ran the wrong program, it ran my special code from yesterday which setup the Football Teams. As a result, as of 12:49pm game time, the Immortal Shirts vs Furs football game was reset. The points, the teams, everything. All I have available to me is one browser page that tells me at 10:33am, the Furs were winning 11,598 points to 9,374 points. I can see the most recent 100 actions at that time, but that does not help a lot. I do not even know who was on which team. I do not know what else I can say other than I am sorry. I am terribly sorry. I know a lot of people put in a lot of work competing the first half of the day. I know how I would feel if I were in your shoes. I do know a large amount of the scoring is done through Attacks. So I do hope to utilize the attack logs (and any other data I can pull) to see who was working the hardest this morning to score points and reward some of those top competitors. Again, I am so sorry. The Admin Avenger Raffle is back! This is where we will draw 6 raffle tickets from the pool of Thanksgiving Day Donators (today and tomorrow) as the winners. Each Raffle Ticket requires a $5.00 Donation. They will be able to have an Admin attack other players at their command! Each winner will get 7 attacks to be carried out by an Admin of their choosing. They will have 3 days from the time of the drawing to order these attacks. This is a great opportunity to have the chance to have Admins do your dirty work and even send an accompanying message should you choose!

The concept of American football games being played on Thanksgiving Day dates back to 1876, shortly after the game had been invented, as it was a day that most people had off from work. It started with college games, but by the time professional football had started the Thanksgiving Day games had become an institution. Families and friends also get in on the fun holding informal skirmishes all over the country before sitting down to their meal. It is high time Immortals did the same, so we are giving it a try!
Introducing the Thanksgiving Day Immortal Football Game! Shirts Vs. Furs! Regardless of species active players will be sorted into the two teams. Then you play the game in different ways to score points or earn penalties for your team! The team with the highest score at the end of Thanksgiving Day wins! There will be a trophy and an MVP HOF. There is also an Announcers Box that gives a play by play of what the teams are doing so you can keep track of what is going on in the game! Additional instructions and information can be found through the link on the Explore page. This is a tricky event Immortals and its our first time running something of this kind, so if you run into issues please post in the BUGS forum and we do ask for your patience while sorting it out. Thanksgiving is right around the corner. For our Thanksgiving Donator Pack, we have something a little different. Pickup the Football Frenzy DP on the donator page. Speaking of Football, the IN Sportsbook is now open and taking bets for the games being played on the 23rd. You have 36 hours to place your bets. Good Luck!

We were not aware previously, but it looks like another one of our drives is old and going bad as well. Sometime in the next hour or so, we'll have to go offline and swap it out. I'm guessing 10-30 minutes on this. N

Immortals. We need to take the game offline one more time to finish up the replacement of our failing hard drive. This is currently scheduled for 9AM tomorrow. It will take somewhere between 1 and 2 hours for this work to be done. Nikita

Immortals - Sorry for the late notice. I am going to take the game offline at 11AM to do Step 1 of our hard drive replacement. This will be followed by Step 2 later in the week. I am not sure how long step one will take, but hopefully less than an hour. N

Hey Everyone. Nothing is official right now, but I wanted to give a warning just in case. We might be taking the game offline for a while sometime this morning to replace one of the hard drives. This could fall in the window of 9am-11am game time. It is also possible we schedule for another day. But I wanted to get the word out so there is not a surprise. Nikita

Hello - For the last few days, we've had server issues in the early morning. Please understand we are working on it. In fact, I got up several times in the middle of the night to check on the game. The problem appears to be a hard drive going bad. We are working to schedule a hard drive swap. We will let you know when that is going to happen. Naturally that as well will require the game to be offline for a good amount of time. Thanks for your patience and understanding. Nikita

Happy Day of the Dead everyone, Halloween is now over its sad to say. :(
We do hope tho that everyone had a great time celebrating with us and that you got your fill of all the fun, events and goodies! Congratulations to the Lycans for winning the Bite War with 2350 Bite Points! Way to show up and howl erm BITE!
