Happy Black Friday Immortals!
We hope you had a good Thanksgiving, both at home and here, the blip not withstanding. Nikita and Violet are still trying to decide if we are going to do over the Immortal Football game or not and we may enlist your help to do so. You may see a poll pop up later today, if that happens please cast your vote on what you would like to happen. That said, we will do our best to reward the people who played the game today.
The Top Turkey Hunters will be rewarded for your efforts as time allows so please be patient with that.
You may have noticed, we did add a Black Friday Amazon link on the right side of the game. As with most retailers, Amazon loves to go all out with Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals. As such, they also offer great incentives to affiliates. Given the fact that a large portion of the population (in the USA at least) shops on Amazon, we thought we would take advantage and run this add for a few days. Just using our link to do some of your shopping helps support Immortal Night. It will be taken down come this Tuesday, so please don't worry it isn't permanent.
There is still time to get a Football Frenzy pack and your Admin Avenger Raffle tickets through today, remember every 5 dollar donation gets you one and we will be picking SIX (6) winners this year!!
Again, we hope that you Americans are sufficiently stuffed and had a wonderful Thanksgiving day even if you are not American and we are especially thankful for your patience and understanding as sometimes things dont go as planned despite our best efforts.
We are Thankful for you Immortals, today and every day! Thank you for being a part of this community!

Immortal - I made a terrible mistake. I have a game file I use to use to run custom code for one-off purposes. I thought I was editing the Immortal Night file, but I was editing the Immortal Day File. So when I ran this file on Immortal Night, it ran the wrong program, it ran my special code from yesterday which setup the Football Teams. As a result, as of 12:49pm game time, the Immortal Shirts vs Furs football game was reset. The points, the teams, everything. All I have available to me is one browser page that tells me at 10:33am, the Furs were winning 11,598 points to 9,374 points. I can see the most recent 100 actions at that time, but that does not help a lot. I do not even know who was on which team. I do not know what else I can say other than I am sorry. I am terribly sorry. I know a lot of people put in a lot of work competing the first half of the day. I know how I would feel if I were in your shoes. I do know a large amount of the scoring is done through Attacks. So I do hope to utilize the attack logs (and any other data I can pull) to see who was working the hardest this morning to score points and reward some of those top competitors. Again, I am so sorry. I wish I could offer a better solution. Nikita

Happy Thanksgiving American Immortals!
We have lots of fun stuff for you and your non American fellows to do today! First up as you would expect is our annual Turkey Hunt! Find the link on the Explore page and hunt those turkeys! Prizes are given to the Top 10 Turkey Hunters!
The Admin Avenger Raffle is back! This is where we will draw 6 raffle tickets from the pool of Thanksgiving Day Donators (today and tomorrow) as the winners. Each Raffle Ticket requires a $5.00 Donation. They will be able to have an Admin attack other players at their command! Each winner will get 7 attacks to be carried out by an Admin of their choosing. They will have 3 days from the time of the drawing to order these attacks. This is a great opportunity to have the chance to have Admins do your dirty work and even send an accompanying message should you choose!
Speaking of the Thanksgiving Donator Pack, this year it is all about Football Frenzy! American Football that is. 30 Days of a Special Football Icon and all the perks, plus 400 Gold, 200 IQ, 4 Deep Fried Turkey Legs, 4 Turkey Bombs (Bombs a player into 100% Fullness without affecting Energy and sends them to Recovery for a time due to Bloating. Works on any species), 6 Pumpkin Spice Beers and 6 Chocolate Pudding Pies! Each purchase also gets you that all important Admin Avenger Raffle Ticket!
Next you want to get over to the Sportsbook and make sure to get your bets in on the Pro American Football games being played today! The Thanksgiving day games are always great and good for entertainment and for winning prize money for placing savvy bets!
The concept of American football games being played on Thanksgiving Day dates back to 1876, shortly after the game had been invented, as it was a day that most people had off from work. It started with college games, but by the time professional football had started the Thanksgiving Day games had become an institution. Families and friends also get in on the fun holding informal skirmishes all over the country before sitting down to their meal. It is high time Immortals did the same, so we are giving it a try!
Introducing the Thanksgiving Day Immortal Football Game! Shirts Vs. Furs! Regardless of species active players will be sorted into the two teams. Then you play the game in different ways to score points or earn penalties for your team! The team with the highest score at the end of Thanksgiving Day wins! There will be a trophy and an MVP HOF. There is also an Announcers Box that gives a play by play of what the teams are doing so you can keep track of what is going on in the game! Additional instructions and information can be found through the link on the Explore page. This is a tricky event Immortals and its our first time running something of this kind, so if you run into issues please post in the BUGS forum and we do ask for your patience while sorting it out. Thank you so much for your help in making this event great!
Today as we celebrate giving thanks personally in our real lives, we also give thanks for you, wherever you hail from and hope you will join us in celebrating being thankful for each other and this community we have created together!

We were not aware previously, but it looks like another one of our drives is old and going bad as well. Sometime in the next hour or so, we'll have to go offline and swap it out. I'm guessing 10-30 minutes on this. N

Immortals - Sorry for the late notice. I am going to take the game offline at 11AM to do Step 1 of our hard drive replacement. This will be followed by Step 2 later in the week. I am not sure how long step one will take, but hopefully less than an hour. N

Hey Everyone. Nothing is official right now, but I wanted to give a warning just in case. We might be taking the game offline for a while sometime this morning to replace one of the hard drives. This could fall in the window of 9am-11am game time. It is also possible we schedule for another day. But I wanted to get the word out so there is not a surprise. Nikita
