Greetings Immortals,
It is thrilling to announce that Immortal Night reaches the two year mark today! Happy 2 year Anniversary!!!!
A lot has happened in this year; we have seen our share of blood, sweat, tears, laughs, loves, feuds and facepalms. Through it all has been you, the players, through thick and thin, new modules and changes, lag and rollbacks you have been right there with us sharing in the triumphs and the pitfalls. Without your loyalty, good cheer, input, understanding and zest for this game and it's community we would not be here today.
Of course we want to celebrate all of that hard work and emotion, that love and that loyalty, by giving you what you have asked for...WAR!
Thats right, the Admin Wars are upon you!
Sign up is SEPTEMBER 2nd ONLY from midnight to midnight. Be sure to log on and pick your team. If the decision of choosing an admin is too agonizing for you, not to worry we have got you covered, you may elect to have the system choose for you. The Admin War will take place September 4th...more on this later.
We would not be celebrating two years if it wasnt for you. The amazing players that make up this wonderful community you have helped us build. So Nikita, Violet and Kanine thought we would also take this time to celebrate not only the time that has passed, but the incredible Immortal players!!
We have several things in store for you from now through the 4th that we hope you will participate in and enjoy. We have a Celebration DP, Raffle, Charity Poll, Specific Battle Royales and more...For the complete list and details please go to the FORUMS (link on the top menu) under the ANNOUNCEMENTS & UPDATES Section and see the thread titled IMMORTAL APPRECIATION CELEBRATION.
Happy 2 year Anniversary, lets party it up over the next few days and celebrate not only a great game, but a truly outstanding community of players!!!!
With lots of appreciation,
The Immortal Night Admin Staff

Immortals -
Things have definitely improved over the last few days and I believe most the issues are behind us, so thats a good thing. I did just remember I forgot one minor change I needed to make. Normally its the type of change I would make, not say anything, and hardly anyone would even notice. But given recent events, I thought it was best to give everyone a heads up, so they dont think there is a larger issue at foot. I need to make a quick tweek to the users table and will do so at 3:45pm. You wont notice any difference, but the game may hang for a minute while I do it. So now you know, no lag issues, just a minor adjustment I need to make. Go Team Nikita!

Nikita Again. Back to Back Bulletins! Yay! I know, I know. You are all tired of me. I'm still working, and like the other day, I need to restart mysql, which will likely slow things down for a bit. As I am still working.... well just to be safe, just assume there may be some performance issues until 6pm Server time. We're very close to being back where we need to be. We'll be out of the woods very soon. Nikita

Ok sooo, you ever have one of those weeks where whenever you try and do something, something goes wrong?
We are having one of those. Looks like we have lost some recent mails while trying to do some table cleanups to make the game more efficient.
We apologize profusely for this inconvenience. Please know that Everyone is affected, including staff. If you sent a mail and do not see a reply that is why.
For those of you who are new to IN, please be assured that the hiccups over the last week are the exception and not the normal state of affairs here.
On IN we try to take situations that are a bit of a bummer and have some fun with them, so please see the General Discussion thread titled QUICKSAND to share some of your Doh! moments and maybe get a little fun prize for your efforts.
Thanks again for your patience and understanding.

Immortals - I think this is going to be an announcement record lately. Lol. As we continue to work to improve on a few lingering performance issues, I wanted to announce that we will be having some more lag over the next, 10-20 minutes I reckon while I do some maintenance. So be careful what you are doing should you have a problem connecting for a minute here or there. I promise the site will not go down, we know what happened before and it can certainly be avoided. Nikita
