Immortals -
This notice is to inform you that the Stables (Race Betting System) has been reset. Despite being an older IN system, there was what I consider an issue with the design. The Training costs for the beasts was not realistic and increased exponentially. In my opinion, this greatly detracted from the use of this system. I imagine that's also why nobody complained to me about this and I discovered the situation on my own. :D
That said, a new pricing algorithm was put in place, all beasts were freed, and the system will begin anew. For those who had animals, a Stable fund has been created for you, and credited with a fair price for your former beats. This money can be used to acquire new beasts and train them for racing. Any remaining stable funds will expire on November 18th so if you want to utilize these funds, hop to it.

While Halloween is a few days away, we are now offering the 2013 Halloween Donator Packs for sale in the donator section. They come with donator days of course, but also include a unique Sugar Skull Donator icon, and one of three collectible items specific to Immortal Night Halloween 2013. Stay tuned as there is more Halloween fun yet to come.

The Dracula Trivia is now going on in the Announcements and Updates forum. Also in that forum is the Halloween House Banner Competition thread! In the General Discussion forum is the Pumpkin Decorating thread!

Just a heads up that tomorrow at 1pm game time Ill be hosting the Dracula trivia in the Announcements & Updates Forum.
Remember this trivia is based on the new Dracula Series. If you do not get this show dont fret, I'll be doing others that you are sure to be able to participate in.

Good Morning Immortals!
Some of you may know there is a new series starting tonight on NBC that the members of this community may be interested in.
Dracula will be premiering tonight on NBC at 10pm game time. Since this show is right up our alley so to speak, we thought we might do something for it...like hold some trivias based on this new series.
The trivia will be held on the weekend, to give everyone a chance to watch or to record and watch, as is my case. If the series does well and keeps rolling, we will continue to do the trivias on the weekend as the show airs late on Friday.

Time for another Beta-Chat test for those who have a couple minutes to spare. Here is the link... Click Here. The goal of this test, for those who have helped before, is to see if the Logout Spam issue occurs if we run the chat from the game server and not the chat server. It takes a lot of people logging into this beta chat for the problem to occur, so help me out if you have a minute. Odd as it sounds, I am hoping the issue repeats itself, FYI. Thanks. Nikita

There is no denying the games at the Immortal Night carnival are great. Yet that doesnt mean a little variety is not due from time to time. We are once again opening the Duck Toss, and issuing the necessary tokens for play to those who support Immortal Nights existence. Anyone who donates today (September 27th), and today only, in the amount of $5 or more, will receive a Duck Toss Token. Donate $5, get 1 token, $10, get 2 tokens, etc. Get the idea?
Each token is good for one game of Duck Toss at the Carnival, where you try to toss three rings around the ducks. Each duck has a value in gold on the bottom and if you rope the duck you get the gold! Now you have another benefit of donating...the shot at up to 450 free gold! Of course for those of you who are Platinum Level players, you will be rewarded with Platinum instead.
We are also giving free Perk Packs to any First-Time donators who spend at least $3.00 USD on donator items today. Limit One per Donator.
Remember, donations are an important part of keeping Immortal Night online and thriving, so thanks for your support.

Immortals - I need to do one more test on our alternate chat platform. I have re-opened it via the Online Chat link for just a couple minutes. Last test there was a "Logout Spam" issue, which is still an issue, but I need to reproduce it one more time to collect some logs. If I could get some of you to login to that chat for a couple minutes, it would be helpful.

Thanks for everyone who helped stress test the potential alternate chat system. It seemed to hold up a lot better than our current chat system when lots of people came in. We understand it was not perfect, had issues, needed some improvements but we were able to show it has potential and may be worth further time developing. I did not want to waste dozens of hours of my time on a system that was doomed to fail. That does not appear to be the case. :D Nikita

Can I get a lot of people to come into the online chat right now and chat for a while? I am testing an alternate chat system. The test-system is far from perfect, but before we waste time working on improving it, we need to see if it can handle a large amount of people. Please refrain from comments like "This sucks" Again, it is not finished but we want to see if it can handle lots of people. Nikita.
