Hi Immortals. I am going to be messing around with the server today. I dont anticipate any issues, but I am messing around with something I am not fully familiar with. So, um, if we do have any problems. Blame me, but know I am here fixing it. If you have not already liked Immortal Night on Facebook, remember, that can be a great way to get information about the game during any outages today or any day for that matter.

I am here to announce the winners of the Create an Item Raffle. The winners are Pappa Rue [1611413], Wave of Mutilation [424760], and ~Asmoday~ [670398]. These individuals will, with some guidance from Violet, each play a key roll in the creation of a future specialty/collectible item to be added to the game.

Have you ever had a great idea for a specialty item? Wanted a say over what was offered for a Holiday in Violets Variety Shop? Well now you can! Today only for every donation in $5 increments you will be issued a Raffle Ticket. This Raffle Ticket is personal, cannot be traded, and is not a permanent item. At the end of the day three winners will be chosen to work with Violet to create these Special Holiday Items. Your name will go in the description of your special item and you will get the max shop limit of that item free! Each winner gets to create one (1) item. Hey Guys. For those of you who verified your email, but had to change the email address currently listed under your account.... Looks like I had an error there in making the update. No big deal, it still verified good for us. But if you want your official account email updated, just shoot me a game mail. This is only for the 200 players who have just recently verified their email, and just those who needed a change to be made. Thanks. Nikita.

Immortals -
We are looking for your help. We have identified a problem with Immortal Night emails all to often winding up in Spam boxes. Emails we send out include quarterly newsletters, new player welcome emails, lost password emails, etc. In an effort to combat this, we are going to work with Amazon Web Services. To do this, we have to show Amazon that we're a trusted site and not a spammer. To that end, we need your help and we are willing to provide a reward too.
Here is what we need. On the explore page, there is a link for Email Verification. This tool, when used, will send a confirmation email to your Inbox. Make sure to check your Trash or Spam folders as the mail will likely be there. Contained in the email is a link back to Immortal Night. Click on it, and you're done. You've verified your account email address. Simple enough? We can then tell Amazon, Look, we have verified emails. We're not sending out spam, we're just sending the occasional email to our players about their account.
Also, if you do this process and do find us in the Spam Folder, please remove the spam label to tell your email provider our emails are not spam. We would appreciate it.
For those of you who do this for us, you will receive 15 Power Potions. These potions, when used, will provide 100% Energy, 100% Will, 100% Cunning, 100% Endurance, 100% Health and 0% Fullness. A pretty good deal we think.
There is also a POLL in the Polling center we request you participate in. Just tell us if the verification email you received went to your spam folder or not.

Looking for that special item for some extra New Years fun? Feeling a little slap happy now that all of 2014 awaits you? From now through Sunday, we are selling a unique item in the donator section. A Smack!! They come in packs of 8 with a $5.00 donation to Immortal Night. For more information, see the description on the donator section. In short, however, Smack another player and they will be unable to communicate in-game for 5 minutes. A great gag and tons of fun! Get them while they last!
P.S. Smacking Chat Moderators, Forum Moderators, or other staff in retaliation for them doing their job, will result in consequences. Don't do it.

Hey guys, as many of you likely know, Back on Sept/October we were casually testing a new chat platform to see if it has potential for our game. During these tests, what we've called "Logout Spam" has been a major issue that we have been trying to overcome. This issue only presents itself when a large number of players are inside the chat.
So once again I am asking those who have some time to spare, to please go into the online chat for a bit so we can test a possible fix that has been made. The more people we can get in the better. Thanks. Nikita
