Immortals -
A few weeks back we had some early indicators of a potential weakening hard drive. We were hopeful they were false alarms, and the indicators did go away. Unfortunately, this morning the game was offline for over an hour as the hard drive gave even more serious indicators of a problem.
What does that mean? First, we will be scheduling a hard drive replacement sometime in the near future. This will unfortunately take Immortal Night offline for a number of hours. We will do our best to give as much advanced warning for this when the time comes. Second, since the hard drive is at risk, do not be surprised if the site goes down again before we can schedule the hard drive swap.
In summary, Hard drive needs replaced, dont let downtime surprise or worry you. We have it under control.

Hello - Counting only the people who expressed an opinion, 12 out of 14 people who voted in the poll wanted a darker template for the chat. So within the next hour or two, I will be changing the chat template colors. Some of you will need to change your font color when you enter chat (once the changes are made) so your text can be visible on the dark background. There is a significant difference in color viewing when changing from light to dark backgrounds. Oh, and you may need to Refresh your page to get the update when the time comes. Good Morning Immortals!
We hope you have been having fun celebrating Valentines day with us. Most of our events are now closed, but the Valentines Day Specialty Pack will still be onsale until the end of the day.
Thank you to all who participated in the Sweetheart Mining Challenge!! We hope you enjoyed the side goodies that came with this event. The winners of the challenge will be announced later today after we have had a chance to verify all of the numbers.

Happy Valentines Day Immortals!
We have a few things going on today to help you celebrate the love! We have the Valentines DP on sale with the Cupids Bow and Arrow icon that is completely love worthy, the Create your Own Valentine tradition in the General Discussion forum to send your love publicly to those important to you.
We have a new event for you with the Sweetheart Mining Challenge where only married couples with active spouses take part. The goal is to mine as many Pink Diamonds as you can. The total Pink Diamonds mined by the couple is tallied and the top 10 couples with the most Pink Diamonds mined will get prizes.
Lastly we have Violets Varieties opened today only in Paris! In it we have a bunch of Valentines Goodies and the Specialty item co-created by Pappa Rue [1611413]! Its Cupids Arrow and its a very special item that will expire at the end of the month, so if you get em use em! Asmodays item has been moved...so dont be disappointed when you dont see it. Its coming. :)

Good Afternoon Immortals!
As we announced earlier the Vampire Academy movie is being released today. Some of you who have played Immortal Night for some time may remember that we like to do something special when Movies and TV shows get released in our genre in game and today is no exception.
To celebrate the release of Vampire Academy we are offering half off on Hellhound protection for the rest of the day and we will will advance the schooling course of anyone taking a class by 1 day when you use the Fast Track Code posted on Immortal Nights Facebook page.
For an added bonus, anyone who has verified their email address with us prior to this bulletin can request an additional Fast Track Code, which will advance your Schooling Course by another day! There will be a link for this in the Schooling page.
You will have three days to redeem your Codes so if you are not currently enrolled in a Course, you have the option to do so now and receive the benefits! If you have 1 day remaining, you will also have to use your code starting tomorrow.

Sorry about that downtime folks. That's exactly why I issued my warning, just incase. I am now done playing around for now. We did actually manage to gain some performance out of my changes, so it was a productive exercise IMO.
