Its sad but true. Christmas 2014 has come and gone. Nikita and Violet would like to congratulate the Lycans for their victory in the Ornament Fight! They hope you all enjoyed that special event as well as the others made specially for the holiday. For those special Immortals who are due for victory prizes, Nikita and Violet will be distributing them within the next few days. Please remain patient. Not only do they need to discuss and select the prizes, it also takes a lot of time to distribute them. Fear not, they'll be on their way as soon as possible. Please stay patient, Nikita and Violet have lives outside of the game as well. Have an amazing rest of their year here on Immortal Night as well as offline.

Hello Immortals, we are sorry to have to interrupt the festivities but it has been discovered that a bug has been identified in the Wrapping Challenge. Immortals were able to wrap packages in quick succession without waiting the stated wrapping time.
We have a problem because NO ONE FILED A REPORT about it and as a result the bug has been going on for 12 hours and has clearly been abused. Unfortunately we have to draw the line and say the maximum number of gifts a player could have reasonably wrapped to this point is 24. If you have more than this you will be set back to 24, if you have less than this don't worry about it you are not affected. If you achieved more than 24 wrapped gifts without exploiting the bug we are very sorry, but as this is a brand new holiday mod we cannot at this time separate who used the exploit and who did not so we have to draw a reasonable line somewhere. We are sorry for any inconvenience this might cause, but we cannot in good conscious award those who have intentionally exploited a game bug. We will also take this opportunity to remind you that if you find a game bug, especially in the holiday mods where something is working in a different way than has been outlined PLEASE REPORT IT IMMEDIATELY. The place to do that is in the Game Forums in the Bugs section. We want everyone to enjoy their time and have a happy holiday here and that means we have to work together to make that happen. Merry Christmas Immortals!
Today is the big day! We have a Ornament Fight for you!! Thats right Immortals we are going to be winging Ornaments at each other. To get the Ornaments you will have to attack other players and steal Ornaments off of their tree!! Once you get the Ornament hurl it at a member of the opposite species! Various points will be awarded for the different types of ornaments that can be throw, but you wont know which ones you have until you throw them!! There are no sign ups necessary, the whole Immortal world is involved! The winning side wins a trophy, but you need to participate and score points in the war in order to win one. There will be a Hall of Fame for the Top Ornament throwers with the Top 10 earning and extra prize. Ornaments are not transferrable. Good luck and may the best species win!!
We also have a Wrapping Challenge continuing for you on the Explore page! We've all been there...scrambling to get those gifts wrapped in time for Christmas morning. Put those skills to the test here in the Wrapping Challenge! The materials to get the gifts wrapped can be found on the City Grid and each gift takes its own time to wrap so dont wait to get started!! The Challenge lasts all day so Wrap as many as you can so you can work your way on up through the ranks to the top and be a "Champion Wrapper"!
Throughout the game today you will see little Grinches pop up trying to steal Immortal Holiday Cheer! No one wants that so be sure to grab the little buggers whenever you see them by clicking on their images. Once you catch them you can ransom them back to Santa for Exploding Candy Canes! Top Grinch Catchers will win prizes, but be careful those Grinches are slippery!
We will also take this opportunity to remind you that the Christmas Donator Packs with the Holiday Wreath and Zombie Santa are on sale now. Violets Varieties is still open with a bunch of new Christmas goodies in the North Pole and you need to do the quest to get there! Finally, today is the last day for the Holiday House Banner Competition in the forums. Be sure to get your Banners in by Midnight tonight so they can be considered for prizes!
There is lots to do today on Immortal Night and we hope that you all have a very Merry Christmas here and at home!!

Happy Christmas Eve Immortals!
We have some new holiday events opening up for you today.
Violets Varieties will be open in the North Pole today and tomorrow. Where is the North Pole you ask? Well of course you have to find it! For that you need to do the quest through the Soul Collector on the Explore page. Be sure to put your Immortal thinking caps on for it!
The Holiday House Banner Competition is in full swing in the Announcements and Updates forum. Make sure to get your entries for your House in by tomorrow night reset to be considered for a prize!!!
The Christmas Donator Packs are also still available with a choice of either a Festive Holiday Wreath or a Zombie Santa for an icon and cool holiday collectibles to go with those choices!
Have fun wrapping and shopping and questing oh boy!!

Hello Guys. Yes the game was just offline for several minutes. That would be me screwing things up. Oops. Fortunately, when I screw things up, that usually means I can fix them up a lot quicker than when someone else screws things up, or when "things" screw themselves up. :) Sorry bout that. Indeed, the game was offline for almost 12 hours today. There was a power failure at the hosting location of our server. It sounds like they also had a failure of their backup power systems as well. We'll know more in a couple days when they release the details. I just ran the midnight reset. I am not going to run the auction as there may have not been time for proper bidding.
To ensure nobody gets the short end of the stick due to the downtime, I am disabling Robbery and Muggings until later today.
Any other issues, please utilize the bugs forum and we will followup with any issues later today.
For those of you who do not follow Immortal Night on Facebook, that is the absolute best way to get updates during these types of situations.

Our Thanksgiving Events have now come to a close. For those who joined us today for the special Events, we hope you enjoyed the things we have put together just as much as we enjoyed creating them.
