Good Morning Immortals!
For the next three days we are celebrating Violets Birthday! (Thank you Nikita) Most of you know what that means, but for those of you who do not, get ready for a LOT of Purple Power!!
We have a brand new Birthday Donator Pack for you to enjoy with a Purple YinYang Icon that represents the dual nature of our lives along with 2 exceptional collectible items! The first is the long awaited Purple Tennis Ball! This item allows you to pelt another user with a Purple Tennis Ball and sends them the message -I wish I could throw a shit ton of tennis balls at you until you cried.- This is a reference back to the early days on Immortal Night and some truly excellent forum banter. The second usable collectible item is a current creation...Purple Duct Tape! This Duct Tape has the power to bind your enemy so they cannot land any blows in a fight! (Cannot be used in wars. One time use item.) This item is truly special and can be a tremendous asset if used wisely!
Two special Event modules will be released tomorrow. Stay Tuned for them this Saturday.
Violets birthday would not be complete without a Violets Varieties Birthday Shop featuring all Purple Items! Wooo Yeah!! IF purple is not your particular shade of awesome (shame on you :P), you will probably want to steer clear of the shop, but if it is, get ready to party! We have 10 brand spankin new perfectly perfect purple products for you to spend your hard earned mugging spoils on, including Purple Roller Skates *squee* and Purple Spiky Pumps, which I may have to be buried in once Immortality has run its course! We also have a Violet Cocktail that looks divine and an I Bleed Purple Mug that just might take the cake...and you know how much I love cake. The shades of Purple Cupcake takes care of that particular obsession nicely, so be sure to get your fill of the goods and remember...its my birthday but its your party! Have fun and celebrate!
Happy Birthday to me and wherever in the year yours falls...Happy Birthday to YOU!

Good Morning Immortals and welcome to the April Showers Event!
The awesome April Showers Donator Pack with the Umbrella Icon and 4 Boosted Blood of the Ancients and 4 Determination Fermentations along with the Jeweled Umbrella Statuette Collectible and the other Gold, IQ and perks has been released for you to partake of!
Violets Varieties April Showers shop is open in London with some event themed goodies, one of which you will need for...
The Lions and Lambs War!!
Players will divided into two teams: Lions and Lambs, and will need UMBRELLAS, which can be purchased in Violets Varieties shop, to participate in all aspects in this war.
There are TWO methods of scoring points in this war.
The FIRST Method is to fight a duel using your Umbrella. You MUST Have an Umbrella equipped as your Primary weapon to take place in the Duel and ONLY the Umbrella is to be used during the fight. Use the special link found on the player profile pages of active Immortals. Umbrellas break frequently, so be sure to stock up!
The SECOND Method is to be a Weather Warrior.
If you are active within 10 minutes randomly you will receive weather events and you have to decide how to handle them. You need a working Umbrella in your Inventory in order to participate in these.
Once you receive the event you have 2 minutes to respond. If you don't respond in the time frame the point opportunity is lost.
Winning a Weather event scores you 1 point for your team. Umbrellas can be consumed at any time during Weather Events, so be sure to stock up!
Each player will have 2 statistics; the Umbrella Dueller stat and the Weather Warrior Stat. There will be 2 Hall of Fames for these stats. The top 10 of each Hall of fame wins a prize. A player will only be awarded ONE top 10 prize.
In the case of a player showing up on both Hall of Fames, whichever HOF they rank higher in will be the one they are awarded for. In the event that a player has the same rank on both HOFs the prize will be awarded for the Umbrella Dueller HOF.
Good luck and start wielding those Umbrellas!

Just another reminder. Don't give your login name and password to another person. This is against the rules. Furthermore, and more importantly, when a stranger tries to sell you on some complex story that requires them to login to your account, needing your login and password, they are just trying to steal your account. Their story is a ruse. Use your head. Nikita

Due to a security issue at our sites DNS provider, it would be wise for players to change their passwords. While we do not think there is any cause for alarm, we would be derelict in our duties to not make this recommendation. For anyone technology minded looking for more information, you can Google Cloudbleed. Nikita and Violet

Happy Valentines Day Immortals!
Today we have a lot for you to do if you are coupled with someone and something even if you are not!
For Couples:
We have a return of the Sweetheart Mining Challenge, where spouses work together to mine as many pink diamonds as they can, picking up other goodies along the way. Top 10 couples will win extra prizes!
The Tag Team Matchgame where you and your partner take turns picking picking your ?s and everything that happens to one of you, will happen to the other. So if you hit a bomb, you both get bombed, but if you make a Match you both reap the rewards!
For Anyone:
The Full Hearts Species War is on! This war pits the species against each other just like any other, but they are trying to out do each other with full hearts! You start with an Empty Heart and Mine or Walk the City Grid to find Love Capsules. You have to use 3 Love Capsules on members of an opposing species to get a Full Heart. Once you have a Full Heart it is credited to your team! A Full Heart doesnt only get your team a point, it also will give you an Endurance boost to keep going spreading the love along with a piece of Gold or Platinum! So get those Full Hearts for you and your Species because the species with the most Full Hearts wins!
Violets Varieties is still open in London with all new items that are excellent, even if you are not so much in support of Valentines Day, like Red Velvet Lava Cake, I mean that makes any old Tuesday awesome!
If you are not wearing your Valentines Day Heart Icon yet, you can still get one. Even if you are not in support of the day of love, these hearts are still bad ass! The Inked Heart and Pierced Heart can mean a lot of things to a lot of people so dont miss out on your chance to get these super cool Icons and the amazing items in the pack! The Ties That Bind Bomb, is always handy for bombing someone and their spouse in one shot! The All Tied Up Item keeps someone from being able to walk the City Grid or Mine for 10 Minutes - hello strategy - and the Not Interested Item is perfect for making your point loud and clear!
We hope you enjoy these special events and have a wonderful Valentines Day Immortals!
