This bulletin is coming to you to inform you of a couple things. I know this is long, but please hang in there and read it. It IS IMPORTANT.
The first is that the game strategy of using Co-ordinated simultaneous attacks on a player to gain the advantage of a win also known as Piggybacking, will no longer be allowed. If you suspect someone of Piggybacking either inside or outside of war, please report this using the Player Report function and give as much detail as you can. Each report will be investigated by Admin. Piggyback offenders will have respect earned reversed in the case of war, and frequent abuse will result in pit time.

On another more personal note, I have seen a trend occuring that is troublesome not only to me, but others in the Admin and game staff. This is an abstract arising more than a concrete issue in most cases but seems to be coming up more frequently. The issue is Bullying. This is a GAME. People come here to escape the grind, to find a break from their daily lives and all the demands of real life, to relax and enjoy themselves. Yes, sometimes that relaxation comes in the form of smack talk, pummels and wars, but Everyone who signs up to play Immortal Night has the right to enjoy themselves here as long as they follow the game rules. All the game staff work very hard in the ways we can to make sure that people have a good gaming experience here so they will choose to spend their time here and help the game grow. The act of bullying is counter to that initiative.

Threats that go beyond normal game play are not wanted, nor do they belong here. We understand there are grudges and feuds and always will be in the course of a war game. What we are talking about goes beyond this realm into making being here a miserable experience because of a choice that broke no game rules.
Everyone has the right to choose who they will be friends with, what house they will belong to, who they will marry, who they will divorce, etc...
No player has to answer to another player for their personal choices, nor does a player have the right to punish another for their personal choices. Players are only required to answer to game staff in order to ensure fair play.

Likewise everyone who plays here also has the right to their private information being kept private and not used without permission. As well as protection against real life threats, discussion about ones children, race, sexual preference, socio-economic status, etc...
If things happen out of game, keep them there. If things happen in game, please use common sense. This game is for grown ups, not school yard bullies or kids. Please conduct yourself as a grown up with common sense and if need be, use the Player Report function or speak to a member of staff. There are more ways to harass someone than by hitting them while online and it has caused us to have to ammend the harassment rule.
It seems that some are not using common sense as instructed and so more clarity needs to occur. Please be mindful that we cannot spell out every single situation that may arise and also that not every single situation that arises is harassment. Please see rule 11 for changes. Game rules are located on the left menu bar.

On a happier note; due to the support of the Suggestion by players to block the hellhound/bomb recovery trick we have gone ahead and actioned it. Moving foward this code will be modified to prevent this.
